In Good General Health
Between 40 and 70 Years of Age
Cannot be taking Metformin
Females must not be using a hormonal birth control
Must Weigh at Least 110 lbs.
48-Hours Caffeine Free (Preferred but Not Required. Please See Additional Information Below)

What are the Time Requirements?
This study will consist of a Screening visit plus up to 450mL of blood donation. Please remember, your screening and donation appointment may to take up to 1-hour.. Study dates are as follows:

You can also visit the Screening and Recruitment Center located at 2025 W. Sunshine Street, L-109. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Your physical screening will take place at the QPS Missouri Cell Therapy Donation Center, located at 2025 West Sunshine Street, Suite L-145 in Springfield, Missouri.
Make sure to show up at your appointment time! If you are late, your appointment may have to be rescheduled depending on volume and availability.
Please remember, your screening and donation appointment may to take up to 1-hour.
Requirements are as follows:
- Avoid donation of blood or plasma.
- Fast 8 hours prior to arrival (drink plenty of water during this time).
- You must provide your photo ID (You will not be able to donate without this!)
- Drink plenty of water the day before
- Alcohol should be avoided for 48 hours prior to donating
- 48-Hours Caffeine Free (Preferred but Not Required)
- No Soda
- No Coffee (Regular or Decaf)
- No Energy Drinks
- No Tea
- No Chocolate
