Participant Requirements: Men and Women, ages 18-50, Smokers and Non-Smokers. Women of child bearing potential with male partners and men with women partners of child bearing potential must use two acceptable methods of contraception for the duration of the study (screening through 93 days after dosing). The two methods should include one barrier method (i.e. male or female condom with or without spermicidal gel, cervical cap, diaphragm, or sponge with spermicide etc.) and one other method. The other method could include hormonal contraceptives, non-hormonal intrauterine device) or another barrier method. Females not of child bearing potential must be postmenopausal for at least 1 year or be surgically sterile (bilateral salpingectomy, bilateral oophorectomy, or hysterectomy, (all documented). Must experience at least 2 migraine headaches a month. BMI (Body Mass Index) must be between 18-40.
What: This study will be evaluating the safety and tolerability and interaction of a a migraine preventative vs. a migraine treatment administered as an injection and oral.
When: This study will consist of 2 stays (check in @ 7 p.m. and check out @ 7 a.m.) and 1 outpatient visit. . Study dates are as follows:
