This clinical research study will be assessing an investigational drug used to treat chronic spontaneous hives.

Vasectomized Male
Sterilized Females (If surgically sterile, must provide documentation of the procedure by an operative report or by ultrasound)
Between 18 and 65 years of age
Non-Smoker/Nicotine user for at least 3 months
BMI (Body Mass Index) between 17.5 and 32 kg/m2

What are the Time Requirements?
This study will consist of a 17-day inhouse stay and 2-outpatient return visits are required to participate.. Study dates are as follows:

Your physical screening will take place at the QPS Missouri Screening and Recruitment Center, located at 2025 West Sunshine Street, Suite L-109 in Springfield, Missouri.
Make sure to show up at your appointment time! If you are late, your appointment may have to be rescheduled depending on volume and availability.
Please remember, your screening appointment may to take up to 3-4 hours.
Requirements are as follows:
- Avoid donation of blood or plasma.
- Fast 8 hours prior to arrival (drink plenty of water during this time).
- You must provide your photo ID (You will not be able to screen without this!)
- Drink plenty of water the day before your Screening
- Alcohol should be avoided for 48 hours prior to Screening to avoid exclusion for a positive alcohol test.
Possible Procedures for screening (other than paperwork):
- DRUG SCREEN. IF YOU HAVE ANY REASON TO NOT PASS DUE TO ILLEGAL USE OF ANY DRUGS, PLEASE LET US KNOW!
- Vital Signs
- Height, weight and BMI
- Routine physical exam
- Lab work
- ECG
Contraception Information:
- Participants who have had a vasectomy must have completed postsurgical follow up to confirm success of the vasectomy. Male participants who have completed family planning must attest to this.
- Surgically sterile women are defined as those who have had a hysterectomy, bilateral ovariectomy, bilateral salpingectomy, or bilateral tubal ligation. Women who are surgically sterile must provide documentation of the procedure by an operative report or by ultrasound.
- Postmenopausal women must have had ≥12 months of spontaneous amenorrhea (with documented follicle-stimulating hormone confirming postmenopausal status)
- Female participants must not be pregnant or lactating and must not donate ova/eggs, participate in in-vitro fertilization, or breastfeed during the study (including washout period) and for at least 90 days after the (last) dose of study drug.
- Participants must use a condom from Day -1 until at least 90 days after the last dose of study drug.
